How Much Will It Cost To Replace My Camcorder Heads?

December 30th, 2009 admin 1 comment

I think I might have to get the heads on my camcorder replaced as they are in bad condition even after cleaning them.
Does anyone have any idea how much I will have to pay if I send it to a professional service place to be repaired?

Clearing The Blurry Background Sound In Home/youtube Videos?

December 30th, 2009 admin 1 comment

Like I notice how many videos that are taken by people who rarely use their camera always have the blurry background sound in their videos. While as in the better ones, you can only clearly hear the people in the videos and what they are saying.
Is this because they usually have better, higher quality camcorders or one of those really long professional movie microphones? Or is it because of audio settings and such?

I Have A Dvd Camcorder, How Do I Edit It? Also, How Do I Give The Footage The Professional Film Look?

December 28th, 2009 admin 1 comment

I have a Canon DC210 camcorder which uses a DVD to record all of its footage. How do I put it on a computer and and edit it?(it always says failed to initialize, and the dvd is really small in size) can some1 tell me what fps it is (24 or 30 or whatever)? Can I convert my footage to 24p? Is my camcorder High-def?? Can I make a low budget film with it (maybe a 10 min film)? most important question: how do I give it that professional film look??
I really wanna know the answer to the last one.

Is It Possible To Have Good Dvd Quality For Dv Camcorders When Uploaded?

December 28th, 2009 admin 3 comments

I have an old JVC camcorder and I set out to make a short film, upon finishing when I uploaded to Adobe premiere, I selected the best format, the DV 24fph format. So, when I view it on a bigger screen, there are all these lines and pixels and poor quality that makes it look like someone enlarged a youtube video with the TV screen on to the big screen. I was told that DV camcorders can’t produce HD quality footage when uploading to PC, so is there no way to have DV camcoreders footage to look like it was HD?
Can i shoot the entire film in my old Camcorder and then borrow a professional HD camera from somewhere and use the tape with the camcorder footage and upload to my pc through the HD camera? Or will the footage and quality remain the same no matter what kind of camera I upload it from because it was shot on my old JVC camera?
I need help…
I’ve tried it on Sony Vegas and I have the IEEE 1394 Firewire USB port, but it’s not working. Maybe I’m choosing wrong formats. I need help, step by step help. I’d really appreciate it, thanks

Where Can I Purchase A Professional T.v. Set / Motion Picture Video Camera ?

December 27th, 2009 admin 1 comment

The same video cameras the tv & film industry use. For example when t.v. shows like seinfield & other t.v. shows end & you see those large cameras that is used when it pans back from the sitcom’s set to the live audiance & in film. I know it may cost around $10,000 to $ 5,000,000. Five million dollars. The little sony camcorders I have need to be replaced with something better.

How Do I Transfer Video From A Camcorder To My Pc And Then To You Tube?

December 25th, 2009 admin 4 comments

I know this is kind of a complex question for everybody, so I hope some of the experts out there can have the time and patience to help me on this.
I need advice to buy a camcorder that will allow me to transfer good quality video into my PC, and then to upload it to You Tube.
My PC doesn’t have any firewire ports; only USB, and it runs on Windows 2000 professional.
According to You Tube, the best format and settings are:
MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
320×240 resolution
MP3 audio
30 frames per second
So I need a USB compatible camcorder with capability to set the settings above.
Do USB camcorders come with software to transfer the video into a file on my computer? If not, what software do I need?
I’d appreciate your suggesting camcorder models that are easy to find anywhere for purchasing.
If USB isn’t the most appropriate interface, then please suggest me any firewire camcorders to do what I need, or any other interface/ports required, to record and upload the best video quality.

I Need A ‘good’ Camcorder-not More Than $300 For Amateur Work.but I Want Professional Results.please Advise.

December 25th, 2009 admin No comments

“$300 camcorder” & “professional results” have no right being in the same question. You get what you pay for & $300 does not buy you professional quality. Sorry. A good camcoder is the Canon ZR800 or ZR850. Far from professional but pretty good for the price. Check out camcorderinfo.com to see all the lastest cameras put through the test.
