There’s No Audio On My Minidv Camcorder, How Do I Fix This?

February 9th, 2010 admin 2 comments

My friend and I both have Mini DV Camcorders (Mine’s a Panasonic, and his is a JVC). Around the same time we both seemed to come across the same problem with our cameras. At first it was just horizontal blue bars going across the screen, but eventually the picture and audio went out altogether. We bough a Dynex MiniDV Head Cleaner, which restored the picture on the Panasonic, but not the audio. But on the JVC the head cleaner won’t even stay inside the cassette tray, it keeps ejecting. Is there something wrong with our cameras? Or are they just in need of a professional cleaning? Has anyone else experienced this problem, and know a way to fix it?

November 27th, 2009 admin 2 comments

Why would I use a professional, powered adapter interface that is atleast $200 (like Beachtek DXA2S) instead of a simple $20 1/8″ male plug to XLR female plug? The setup is for a Sony prosumer camcorder that is picking up one entry level professional shotgun mic (~$400).

Contrary to popular belief that special effects in post-production, the effects are more convincing in full prior to the planned production, so that every detail is perfectly integrated with the implementation of the plan. Therefore, it is important that these special effects before starting to develop scouting for locations and props budget. Compositing and computer graphics are much, without the right foundation.
Budgeting and planning come together. Scheduling Whereas door on the right cast members, crew and equipment to the right place at the designated time is critical and the budget does not matter if the people through the hours, days, or simply the donation paid for their time. A good plan offers significant savings on the situation, all the scenes involving the use of a proposal that costs $ 200 a day back-to-back so that it may require to be returned as soon as possible to shoot.
An emergency plan should always be there. This is more or less capable of something else, though some problems have arisen, such as bad weather or lack of an actor firing. Good budget planners production of the show on a scale of detail. Very few people have the luxury of unlimited resources, and even if you do not have such means, it is not advisable at all this money for useless things.
Through experience, you will soon discover that not everything is exactly as we want it to happen. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to other details that might give some negative effects on the finished product and financial performance. The error of losing money. The size of the project and the budget determines the type and source of talent. Another aspect would be the demands that are placed on the talent in terms of capacity to act, the storage of lines and other artistic needs. There are about 5 large pools of talent from which they made into one.
