What’s The Best Handheld Digital Camcorder To Shoot A Short, Small-time Movie With?

January 29th, 2010 admin 2 comments

*preferably UNDER $1000* I really want to get into film production and I figured I would test the water - you have to start somewhere, right? I’m looking mostly for 1) high picture quality and 2) ability to execute simple cinematic effects like focusing in and out on an object. I may show it to the admissions directors at UCLA as part of my “portfiolio” when applying to the film school next year, so I really would like it to look professional as possible.

Looking For A Professional Digital Camcorder…?

December 19th, 2009 admin 4 comments

I am shooting a documentary for a University concerning a medical research study in another country where I will go there and interview doctors and patients and document on the whole situation at these facilities and I am looking for a camera that will be perfect for this situation. They gave me roughly a $4000-$5000 budget, but I can work with it if I have to go above. I am looking for a digital camcorder. I edit on Sony Vegas or Final Cut Studio, depending on the situation. Please help, I am usually a bit slow when it comes to the technological part of filmmaking and I don’t want to ruin my opportunity to get a great camera, so all of the advice I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Also, a camera that will stay in use after the documentary for movies and short films would be great too, because I do that in my spare time as well. So I need a camera that will be adequate for a documentary as well as for movies and short films.
Thanks

How to use YouTube to increase traffic to your site

November 16th, 2009 admin No comments

After Google, YouTube is now apparently the most used search engine in the world. YouTube now sees more traffic than expected even Yahoo or MSN. I think it's incredible. And I think that is a great opportunity for those of us who need to increase visitors to our web pages.

But YouTube is really a realistic option to increase traffic to your website? Last year I started testing much this theory, because, frankly, I was a bit 'cynical. My suspicion is that most of these studies of teenagers are looking for clips of their favorite bands or stupid stunts, and I doubt that YouTube could be effectively used for marketing purposes.

So I have a small number of short duration (2-5 minutes) video on a theme, one of my websites, and published in the context to see what happened.

And I must say that the results really impressed me. People were neither find my videos on YouTube itself - or tends to rank highly on Google Videos - Watch and then my video. In a few months, thousands of people have seen and a decent number of them clicked on the link on my website.

As a result, I have seen a significant increase in the number of requests as a result of this experiment and in fact, made me the possibilities.

How hard is it for the power of YouTube? Frankly, the answer is not much, and I would tell you exactly how I did it in hopes that you too can take advantage of the power of online video.

Making The Video

There is nothing fancy is required, making a video on your website in the market. Personally, I have a cheap digital camera and says, essentially only in the lens. YouTube to make sure that the video no longer than 10 minutes in length total. Personally, I have more or less read some of my most popular articles and tips so that I can reuse a large part of my existing content, rather than creating lots of new content.

Literally, I took an article that the traffic was generated, and then read the camera.

Video upload

Sign up for a free YouTube account if you have not already done so and see how easy it is to upload the video. All you have to do is press found on your computer and upload button.

Once the video is loaded, the last step is the correct name. As you are essentially re-use of the content of an article, use the page title as a title for the video and a link to your website in the description.

This is really anything it. I recommend a series of these videos, how they can be a bit 'hit and miss and the more you have to be the biggest difference to traffic.

Another recommendation is to comment on your videos into your YouTube account, as I have found a surprising number of people who are eager to questions about the videos I uploaded and this may also be a good way for people in my site says call requesting that the answer to their questions about this page or page on my site.

Digital camera accessory what is right for me?

If you have a camcorder to tape, which will probably be able to a tape into your camcorder and start recording, once, drop, as you open the box and charge the battery. But if you download the video to a laptop computer for editing, you must make sure your computer and the software has the right to connectivity. Many tape-based models and all models of tapeless support downloading via USB 2.0, but you should ensure that support the operating system and hardware. Moreover, although all models have a USB 2.0 port, some still restrict its use to downloading strictly from the memory card. You must make sure your model really uses it for video. Otherwise, you will need a FireWire port. In this case, you need a FireWire cable (very few models bundle buy), but may need to add on a card inside the PC.

Some advice from digital cameras aaccessories:

What are the differences between Primary Battery and rechargeable battery? A primary battery is not to be recharged and is deleted when the battery has delivered all its electrical energy.A battery is a galvanic battery which, according to the press, which recovered fully charged state for passing an electric current through the cell in the opposite direction of the discharge.

What are the causes of short battery life? How will prolong the life of the battery? 1) Reason: a.Charger or electro circuit can not be fit for the battery.b.Overcharge and Over-discharge can not etc.c.Battery in line with the survey requirement2) Solution: a. charger.b.Charge Use the original battery after it automatically, then the full charge battery.c.Avoid Incorrect use of batteries, as the fall of heavy pressure, short circuit, and so on.
