Best Professional Video Camera?

February 5th, 2010 admin 2 comments

Hi. I currently own this video camera ( http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Panasonic-SDR-H60-Hard-Drive-SD-Card-Camcorder-Silver-SDRH60/sem/rpsm/oid/204258/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do ) and have been unsatisfied lately due to low quality and very, very low battery life.
I’ve been looking around at more professional cameras and have found that this one ( http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=11038608 ) looked pretty good, but it has no night filming feature, which I’d like to have.
As you can probably already see, I’m not afriad to spend a good bit of cash, as long as the camera is worth the money.
I’m not too picky with the type, like MiniDV, HD, or SD, but the one that I currently have is SD, and I’m not too familiar with MiniDV or HD, so I’m not sure which one works best.
Also, I really like the Sony Handycam products because of the quality etc. But, I’m willing to look into other brands if they are just as good or better.

Professional Couple Sex Movie Producing?

February 4th, 2010 admin 2 comments

Question: I was thinking yesterday that the Sex Industry sells very well in profit making. Was thinking of a different approach that I personally never seen nor heard of.
I need to know if there is any illegalities with my idea of renting out a house and using it for filming couples having sex or whatever they want to do to make a professional sex video. I know alot of people who would love to have there own personal sex video but won’t due to not having a good camcorder, a third person to film, nor even know how to video edit. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to start a company that does that for you. I do sports video editing so audio visual editing is no problem. But is there any legalities that i would need to know about. Only one i can think of is copyrighting the videos.

How Do You Make An Hd Video Look Professional?

February 3rd, 2010 admin 3 comments

I have a 720p recording camcorder and I want to know how to make my videos look professional. I have vegas and I know how to do all the audio clippings and such but I’m wondering how to use the right filters and what-not so that the actual movie itself appears like a real film. How does the movie industry do this and/or how can I do a similar film?
And what is it that they do so that they look that way? Like you will have the movie looking films, the TV show looking films, and then like soap-opera films, and they all three look different. How can I get these filters (or whatever they are called) so that I can make my films look like them?

Professional Video Camera?

January 25th, 2010 admin 2 comments

Hi,
I am wanting to buy a professional video camera for making shortish films (maybe maximum 1 hour) by myself and one or two other people to help me when I go out filming.
Can any experts advise what kind of video camera I should buy, bearing in mind that I have got experience with a cheap home camcorder and am wanting good definition, colour and clarity and something which is under £1500.
Thank you very much.

Premiere Pro 1.5 - Professional Look?

January 24th, 2010 admin 1 comment

I have been making short films for quite sometime, and have been using a Mini-DV camera for filming, and Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 for editing.
I was actually wondering how I can give it a professional speed if you know what I mean. For example on Only Fools and Horses, the interior scenes are in Real-Life, studio speed, whereas the exterior scenes are a bit slower and more of a drama/film look, thats the look I want to acheive for my films but I don’t know exactly what the term is called.
Can anyone help me with how to acheive this on Premiere Pro or on my camcorder?
Thanks

I Have A Dvd Camcorder, How Do I Edit It? Also, How Do I Give The Footage The Professional Film Look?

December 28th, 2009 admin 1 comment

I have a Canon DC210 camcorder which uses a DVD to record all of its footage. How do I put it on a computer and and edit it?(it always says failed to initialize, and the dvd is really small in size) can some1 tell me what fps it is (24 or 30 or whatever)? Can I convert my footage to 24p? Is my camcorder High-def?? Can I make a low budget film with it (maybe a 10 min film)? most important question: how do I give it that professional film look??
I really wanna know the answer to the last one.
